EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Shining A Light On Employees Who Go Above and Beyond
Clint Burnham, Aquatic Supervisor at the Family Fitness Center, put his water skills to good use by helping put out a fire in southern Utah recently!
While attending a conference in March, Clint was helping Washington City with a firework show when a firework landed on a dry patch and ignited a fire. Clint was able to help turn on some nearby sprinklers, shoot water over a fence, and put out the fire before the local fire department arrived.
Clint has been with West Valley City since March of 2002, starting as a lifeguard. He became a full-time employee in 2004. He says, “I love serving the people of West Valley as we strive to ‘create a community pool party, all day, every day.’ I definitely couldn’t do it without my amazing staff!”

Way to go, Clint!
